The Pilgrimage of Egeria is by no means over. (She has yet to tell you about her visits to Tarsus, Constantinople, Ephesus, Jerusalem at Eastertime, and Bethlehem, as well as describing all sorts of cool liturgical customs of the country.)
However, there’s a lot of references to Edessan history that Egeria makes, and which I thought you might like explained. Also, I thought you might want to hear two texts of the (made-up) letter to Abgar which were very likely the same ones that Egeria knew about. So I came up with a little appendix to include all this.
Appendix: Abgar and Edessan History.
7:46.
